Man, it's sad to see how low some of you limit your natural capabilities.

To each their own I guess.
I dont see the problem.

Good lord. Wrapped a voodoo floss band around my groin super tight and did some leg swings and bodyweight squats, sweet sweet release.

Said it many times before but that Kelly * book is amazing.

Maximum LBM calcs generally show that they are right and you are wrong. Frame size has a lot to do with it.

If numbers in that range are possible then the physique competitors at the Olympia are all natural too.

Right and wrong has nothing to do with it. If you read my post, I don't express a view on if it's right or wrong. I just think it's a stupid thing to say.

Not from me so I'm quoting it but I feel strongly about this:

"Anyone even that interested in "predicting their potential" or "predicting their own limitations" is that much closer to making sure they never reach their own potential." <- this on your fancy max. LBM calculators.

5'10" 190 in contest shape would make you a top natty BBer.

I'm hoping for 180 next season.

In other news, been hovering around manly weight (200lbs) past few days, I think I'm finally sitting pretty there. Next goal is 225, then I'll consider a cut. Only have like three pairs of pants that still fit me now, which is very annoying. Strength is going up each session steadily, still having trouble with squats due to my hip, but that too is getting better.

Warning, don't click on the images unless you wanna see a fat bearded dude in compression shorts. Added a gratuitous shot of my "weak legs" for Coldsnap
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Trad high bar:
-break at knees or hips (depending on who you ask); majority of oly lifters break at knees
-forward knee travel is encouraged if you want to be as upright as possible, I prefer a balance where I break at knees then sit back so I don't just have all the weight on my quads (would rather do front squats)
-upright as your leverages will allow (I.e. short femur equals upright, long equals forward lean....I learned this the hard way by overextending my low back to be upright)
-narrow-ish placement (also personal pref, I prefer slightly wider than shoulder)

because of this

the clusterfuck initiates when lb guys give advice specific to that type of squat to hb squatters and versa vice. which is why I abstain from commenting on non-weightlifting stuff, because i know basically fuck all about it.

By the way Charly, I don't think anyone said that 5 10, 190 single digit BF is impossible, it's that it certainly isn't "small"

I don't think anyone said it was impossible too.

I think it is small. But that's a matter of opinion (obviously). Like your opinion is that it "isn't small."
