Seriously though, Mark...the absolute best thing you can do is brush it off. Next time you see her, smile, ask her how she's doing, and be friendly. If she's with that guy, introduce yourself, shake his hand, and ask him how he's doing.

Life's too short to hold grudges.

This is the approach I'd take... Plus it'll totally piss her off. Intended or not.

Without a doubt this is the right thing to do,
actually exactly what I did when I saw my last ex for the first time in three years. The next day I got an angry email from her just like Tiger said, deleted that shit and didn't reply.

It's not like I'm unaware as to how to act, just venting a bit.

Also this entire discourse further proves this is amongst the best little sub community within SF, in my opinion.

I thought this was a pretty good summary of the "whys" of each of the squat variations I saw on another forum:

(could have sworn this would have been posted here by Charly but it wasn't)

That article wasn't written very well, but also doesn't rippetoe make the argument that more muscles are used through a greater ROM in a low bar squat?  I think this is a better article:

The Dan Green article is excellent.

I had read that first one before, but didnt give me the why like I wanted. Just "more leverage on low bar = more weight". Still informative though. I miss front squats.

Will check out SS and that other artcle.

Something else I've wondered: is it better to train with a big bench arch and heavier weight PL style or less arch with greater ROM?

So to include the low bar stance in training is done first as the main squat because if trained consistently it uses the greatest bar weights.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, or if I'm tripping, but I can't even understand what he's saying in places.

100% serious, it's a great article. But the article you linked is a much more comprehensive explanation of the differences.

In my experience, it's better to train bench PL style.

It's just more consistent. There are too many variables if you're doing it less arch. How do you know exactly how much arch you're using each time? How do you maintain a stable position?

If you want more range of motion etc just add in dumbbell bench and flyes etc
