Why 10g? Are you loading it or something?

I'm increasing my banana/apple intake for more potassium to see if that helps improve my recovery time. I've really liked going to the gym every day or every other day, so I'm going to see if I can keep up with that without training while fatigued.

Went to a rooftop reception with all the local bigwigs in finance. Had a great time. Dudes that were hosting it that invited me were the people I was trying to get an internship/job with. I sent him a thank you afterwards and he emailed me back apologizing for not getting back to me about the analyst position as they're still evaluating their needs. I WTF'd because I gave up on that opp months ago, not sure how to respond. Dudes just successfully exited one or two companies, too. Really nice guys, I'd love to work with them, and I get that personnel is the major cost in such a biz, but it sucks they can't just offer me something right now haha.

LOL

i kinda agree about ankle mobility though, I've seen a lot of lifters with completely shit ankle mob and they stretch the fuck out of their calves all the time. has made very little difference in anything.

fitday is what I have used for a couple of years. Works well for me. I have set up a bunch of custom items like a slice of my favorite bread, a cup of the cottage cheese I buy, etc.

etc. so that creating/charting my menu for the day takes just a minute or two.

With my bag of tricks I could get anyone's ankle here open and mobile. Would be no problem. Might be a little painful but that's it.

Wouldn't ankle mobility come in to play for bench too when you're required to keep heel down?

Yea there's a ton of shit.

-knee to wall mobilization to see if the knee is tracking with the ankle correctly.
-Then shove a lacross ball between back of knee and leg then make the person sit in a squat for a bit. Then do the same thing but sitting on the ground and moving their foot through motion to un tack the tissue above and bellow the knee.
-Tie their foot around a squat rack with a band, make them walk out 5 feet or so then lay down and let the band pull their hip capsule.
-Voodoo floss their ankle and knee to get some blood rushing through the area. Then they should do a squat workout and strengthen their new end range of motion.

I just replaced my tire tubes with actual Voodoo floss bands. Can't wait to try benching with it around my elbow.

Wouldn't working out with voodoo band essentially just be occlusion training?
I mean benching the bar with it or just bodyweight pushups. Something that mimics the rom I do in training

My gym has a bunch of smelly kids lately who show up, work out in their street clothes and leave without showering ffffuuuu.gif. One of them chugs a can of Coca-Cola immediately before working out and does a posing routine at the end of his workout despite the dad jeans preventing him from actually seeing his legs.

What is wrong with people.

You should terry tate them

Not really frustrating or anger inducing, but co-workers I have are pretty face palm worthy. My lunch consists of quad chicken bowl from Chipotle when I neglect to make lunch at home. Immediate response from co-workers who sit close by is "Wow, I wish I had your metabolism. You seem to eat whatever you want and never get fat... So fuckin' unfair" then proceeds to go on about how no matter what they do, how hard they work out, they never lose weight and it's "genetic". Same day, same co-workers, bust out some instant ramen/frozen burger sliders, couple cans of Rockstar, and then slide out of the office to hit Taco Bell for lunch facepalm.gif

Frozen burgers ffffuuuu.gif

I gotta give NC credit. Where I'm at folks are pretty lean and active.

Everyone in NC seem to obsessed with being "fit".

quad chipotle bowl is impressive. I usually get 1 burritto double chicken and a soft corn carnitas taco post workout
