Although, with coupon at eastbay, they're not too bad actually. And I'd certainly never need another pair...

What's the heel on these like? Some of the shoes that are more for olympic lifting have a higher heel. I know my Adistars had a bigger heel than my adipowers and I much prefer a lower heel for raw squat.

powerlift trainers are great for 70bux. whatever amount of heel compression and .25" heel lift is not going to matter a whole hell for pretty much anyone squatting itt.

^That sight has good reviews for tons of models and makes it easy to compare.

Absolutely. I already have more than I need. I didn't need a texas power bar for instance. Powerlifts would be 100% sufficient for me for now, but I believe in the buy once mantra and nothing makes me angrier than when stuff doesn't work like it should thus I prefer to just buy above what I need. Thought about Power Perfects since they're a nice middle ground, but it's not that much extra money to step it up to adipowers.

(also I have like 4 or 5 pairs of sneakers that I paid more than adipowers for... why stop now?)

People squat over 500 in powertrainers all the time in my gym. But you're fooling yourself to think that just because those other ones are more $$ they are of a better quality. It's adidas after all, still made in shit sweat shops. If you want to buy quality buy Ristos.

Eh... my money. I'm not questioning whether powerlifts are sufficient. They 100% are, but I'll buy what I want.

Coldsnap thanks for that video. I got the grip and wrist part down, but maybe my rotation is totally off. Gonna try it this weekend for a few sets and see how that goes.

I wish I applied this logic to knee sleeves, gone through so many pairs before I bought good ones. Shitty neoprene ones $25, shitty single ply elastic ones $25, decent 7mm neoprene ones $60 finally bought triple ply elastic ones for $60, which don't fall apart and offer enough bounce.

I mainly don't like powerlifts because I think they're really ugly, red heel looks shit, reminds me of haribo.

They're both TJX stores it just depends on how old and where the Winners location is, the dumpier the location, the more downmarket the stock tends to be.

Knee feels normal again. No idea what happened, just a mild ache and was clicking a bit. I've had problems with that knee since I was a kid, mostly mild shit, so I'm wondering if I tweaked it weird or something.

Might go back tomorrow, just so fucking motivated lately, not sure if going daily's a good idea or not haha.
