Incline curls and curls in general have been giving me a wicked pain on my right side (my liver? bottom of my lat?) especially if I squeeze them hard at the top and do really slow negatives.

Lol or worse the fatties that won't work out because they don't want to get "bulky"

Will go for 530-535 next week for 2x5.

How long did it take you to go from 330 to 530?

I'm cultivating mass, bro.

But whats the point? The incline doesn't change the mechanics on your bicep.
I do them at the end of my workout so a) I get to sit down and b) I get a better stretch through the bicep and anterior deltoid.

Still have my Rogue Do-wins on. Crappy video quality makes it hard to see.

About 15-20 minutes to warm up to top sets.

For reps of 5? About 2 years I think.

What about 130 (or whatever comparably low weight) to 330? How old are you?

I honestly don't remember how long it took me to get from 130 to 330. I guess like 5 years since I never really took lifting seriously like I did once I started competing.

What changed to make you take lifting seriously? Not sure if that's a weird question, but just curious when it clicked and decided to go into competitive powerlifting.

It actually puts more strain on the long head

Got tired of just fucking around.

Tried a meet, got hooked, and now here I am 2.5 years later.

Also, might be that I've got an addictive personality.

I lifted a lot before but no real path. Wasn't really getting anywhere because I drank everyday and smoked 2 packs a day.

Decided I need a change. Now I don't smoke and I drank very little. I think powerlifting is the better thing to be addicted to.

im missing swimming already. one week without and i already have a bunch of niggling aches and pains that are coming up. diet is the same, lifting is the same, the only thing that's different is no swimming. i guess it really is great for rehab

I need to figure some shit out. Getting some insane front deltoid/elbow/bicep/forearm pain after squats. Squats are going amazing though, squated a weight for 2x5 1x7 which was 50lbs heavier than what I could squat only for one a month and a half ago. I think maybe the bar is riding a bit too low, took some pics of setup and I'm like on my rear deltoid or it could also be that I don't have the proper rotator cuff strength to hold my left shoulder in external rotation through the whole set. The bloody pain tho, I can hardly lift a 10 lb weight when it's on.

VSLI you could squat 330 in under a year if you ate, worked on mobilization, and slept more.

Ah I meant that. Your final set looks better than your warmups.
