Bagels. Each is like 500 cals and high GI.

Also if you like sweets if you stick to ones without fructose they can fit well in healthy eating. During my contest prep I devoured sweet tarts and nerds.

What is this about?

None of my bagels have 500 cals, more like half that. I guess you could load them up with cream cheese or peanut butter. Either way, I wish I didn't like bagels so much frown.gif

I did think tiger prawn was a girl too from thumbnail. But I'm dumb and consider anyone with pink shirt and long hair = girl. But tiger def more developed and manly than me.

I'm def not using snatch grip but I might not be gripping the bar properly. Even with alternate grip I seem to be bottlenecking because the bar's about to start slipping from my fingers and I'm afraid I'll drop it.

Yea, what I'm saying though is that if your grip is right and it truly is a grip strength issue I'd mix in some snatch grip DLs to build up strength. Then again it could be something as simple as hand position or needing some chalk.

Anyone know whats a good weight to start at with neck harness? Need to get some plates from Walmart, but not really sure.

Had a funny conversation with someone who pretty much encapsulates the typical Raleigh person who runs a lot and lifts at a swanky gym. Asked me how my gym was Tuesday night because it was 90* with like 88* humidity and I said it was hot as hell. Person keeps telling me to workout at this place that is stupid expensive, there's an Ace Hardware next to it so I walk by it often and when I see guys walking in there with color matching outfits and gloves already on I can't help to think I should stay as far away from that place as possible. Anyways, person tells me I'm totally that guy who yells when I lift weights and wants to get fat. And that there is nothing wrong with being fit like them, says fit this fit that etc. Our boss walks in and hears the conversation and tries to make a compliment to the person by saying, I've never seen you other than skinny. I laugh at him calling the person skinny and they take big offense.

I think I am done bulking though. I've said 185 is my fighting weight but I've changed my mind to it to be 195. Especially after eating maint here for a few months and cleaning up my carb sources, def leaning out while maintaining 195lbs which is awesome. I have abs on my off days and on most of the day through my workout day.

What the actual fuck? Is this a thing?

Could only find one single 2.5 lb plate for like two weeks. Finally talked to the gym manager who said he pulled them all because nobody used them and they would never get put back. I don't get how those two statements don't contradict each other? Anyways, he gave me two which I'm fine with, but still WTF is that shit?

Fructose isn't taken up by muscle, but rather entirely by the liver. Meaning, it won't contribute significantly to intramuscular glycogen stores but will convert to fat.
