Yea good job Jarude! Definitely good progress over the last time I saw your squats. Was that a PR? How you guys lifts with a hat is beyond my comprehension though.

thanks man. yep, PR. last i managed was 265x3,1 iirc... so im pretty happy about this. i've been doing +10lb weekly for the past while without slowing down, so i'm due for a stall. upper back was getting fatigued and i felt like i was getting folded over a little bit, so i may have to add in some GMs or the like. i think i should be able to hit 315x5x2 by years end. and the hat is so im not blinded by sweat, haha.

i think you missed this one before - are you ever planning on competing?

looks like you're the odd one out without a garage gym laugh.gif you're probably right, the bar is very low on my traps and i do the squat as i would a low bar, just without sticking my ass as far back.

Man. I would die a happy man if I had a garage to lift weights in and wrench on a Nova in. Yea, I think the biggest indication is that your knees are still behind your feet. Looks really good though, you got a strong back. I'd move my stance in a little bit more to add a bit more stability and bounce to your bottom, you sorta wobble around a bit. But that's just me.

I don't get how Tiger got such developed quads with SS. For me it's been all hamstring and gltues, with a bit of quads.
Yeah I got very little quad development on SS.

I've never heard of an ortho program that screens above 230, though. My situation's a bit different since I'm Army Med, so those programs rank candidates a bit differently than civilian guys.

I meant that after a 250 there is no added effect or benefit. I bet there are a few academic centers with higher cut offs spirnkled here or there but the other factors are probably bigger. Best of luck in the process man. I hope you get a good spot. Idk much about the army matching process.

Also, I am getting fat. Some of it is definitely muscle from restarting benching (hadnt done it in over a year) but definitely fat too frown.gif
