Fucking hell I hate squats....jk just failing badly at them ever since I had a week off.......
Upper back is weak and falls forward on last set of squats; going to do some 6ish rep heavy DB rows at home at least 3 times a week. Any other reccommendations to get my upper back 'back' on track :)
Needed to bring the feet in closer and point toes out more. Feet wide caused sharp pains in the hip joints well before getting to parallel. Opening my hips by pointing my toes out more gave me the last couple inches I needed. Will continue to stretch and do mob work to try to loosen my hips and slowly bring the toes back in. I know kstar isn't a huge fan of toes way out, mine are probably 35-45 degrees now. Can't believe I didn't take the time to figure this out sooner.
5x5x150 squat, deloaded to really focus on depth. Was just as challenging as 170 last time even being just within a couple inches of parallel.
3x5x145, 4x145, 5x140 bench
5x5x145 pendlay row, getting some pain in front of my shoulders at the very bottom of the rep, any thoughts?

The still of that one video shows why one should never need a neck pad to squat. Dat shelf.
then after the max singles and triple after my regular 2x5 worksets, all of my assistance work went up. i came into the session feeling hungry and shitty too. yay training feels, goes to show that even when you think you're working hard and doing everything right... you can probably work harder.
Of the three team events, the first two sounded fun. First involved whitewater rafting down a segment of a river with the team carrying back the raft. I didn't make this one since it started at 7:30 am. Second, the teams power cleaned for ten minutes and tallied each member's highest weight. I did like watching this as there were some guys pulling a good amount of weight, much more than I can pull. The third was a relay with push presses, the weird pull ups (don't remember the name but you use your hips to help), ring dips and burpees. Cheered on the wife's team but that's as much as I got into the last event.
