I love my DL form, I like my squat, I don't know what is happening with my bench

Yea, I think I have like 10-15lb and 2" on you or thereabouts.

What is our problem exactly? laugh.gif

I'm pretty pleased with my form, small things to iron out but mostly good. Charly said "You need to sit back more on your setup for your sumos and use more of your hips and legs to drive the weight off the ground. Squats looked good other than a little pitching forward. Work on beefing up your core a bit."

I need to fix my life fitness bench, it just needs a few bolts, but I can't stand the other cheapo one I bought also... will sell it as soon as I no longer need it.

Consistency is key my man! Everything else follows.

My acromion is bugging me today. I really need to get my right shoulder 100% or I'm going to fuck something up again now that I'm benching heavy. It's like 80%, up from not even being able to over head press a 20lb dumbell without pain.

nice, especially since you've only been training a few months. I only did 9 reps at 225 yesterday, end result was my ant delts and triceps were so smoked I could barely do my 50% 1RM press sets lol

Had bilateral inguinal and umbilical hernia surgery back in spring 2012, was totaling 295 squat, 335 dead and 225 bench prior to that. My dead is finally back up there but my squat and bench are still lagging behind. I'm 6'1", ~173lbs. Need dem calories. Probably gonna do a Stronglifts or 5/3/1 program to get my totals back up.

Those were your 5rm weights I assume? Stick with full-body workouts until you are doing 1.5x those numbers for 1rm.

i've never done btn presses until today. what a great feeling movement, for some reason half-rom btn pressing feels much more natural and comfortable than conventional overhead pressing.

Was at an amateur sports tournament my lady friend was competing in. Kid that goes to her club was hungry. We brought snacks so I said "help yourself". Kid left like 5 minutes later. I went back to get food and he took a half full bag of pistachios, half full container of fruit, and an unopened pack of deli turkey for the road. Got stuck without the damn protein I brought for myself. WTF?! Are college kids really that dumb nowadays?
