If you don't strengthen the new ranges of motion, the gained ROM will most likely go back after a couple of hours. There's very little reason to do mobility work if you're not gonna use the increased ROM you gain by it or just sit on your ass at home.
So do it before lifting and use the increased ROM on your lifts.
Holy shit, styleforum inside joke just got real life. This awesome guy in my gym invited me to train in some dudes garage with him, he's nationally ranked in strongman and has an elite total, and some other guy who is one of the top lifters around 200lbs. I just realized it's probably this dude
