Routine isn't really going to matter. Any basic program (with bench, squat, and deadlifts once a week) will work as along as you bust your ass.
An average joe will just have put on a tiny bit of muscle and drop down to like 10-12%. It's fairly easy since he's not big at all - actually pretty slim, bordering on skinny.
