Yup. It's one of the reasons I don't necessarily buy the excuse that someone needs to get fat just because they used to be a twink. It takes time, yes, but I can't recall a photo of Charly where he looked even kind of fat, and you certainly can't attribute that to great genetics or gear.

Yea, I guess I do agree with you at the end of the day. No one lifting should have more than 20% bodyfat. I think like 18% is fine, but that's just splitting hairs.

I'd like to get mine tested, wonder what it is. i guess 17-18%. I can try calipers again.

I did the fatty bulk up to 210lb. Don't necessarily regret it, but it probably wasn't necessary. First day doing the same volume i was doing pre exams, fuuuark even my conditioning has gotten worse. Love that feel when you find a new movement, which feels sickening. Did yates rows for the first time today, was a good feel, feels much better then pendlays. Not fitness related, learning to drive in a few weeks, if I buy a boxster will people think I'm gay?

woke up this morning with a pretty bad sore throat and have been feeling fatigued and sluggish all day.. i usually hit the gym around 6pm. what's the limiting factor to determine whether or not i should just sit this one out? so far no fever, but extremely fatigued (possibly from monday's leg workout) and sleepy, although i got a good  7hrs of sleep last night.

I was actually feeling pretty similar today. Woke up after a good 8 hours of sleep but felt sluggish and slow, almost like the onset of a cold. Grabbed my gymbag but halfway there I was like fuck it, and almost turned around. Told my mind to go screw itself, and after working out I feel good as new, and after a good warm up it was a great workout.

In my experience, a shitty workout beats out no workout at all.

Edit: Also, whenever I feel like that I feel like it could also be dehydration, so chug a shitload of water.

Mark, was surprised how lean you were in your WAYWT, strong progress. I thought you were still like 200lb or something but you're starting to look like you lift.

Thanks brochocho! Nah man, I been going hard with the lifting, and really have got my diet down pat and i'm seeing good progress. I want to cut down to like 10-12% and then i'm gonna start lean bulking like a mother, don't care how fat I get, just want to get strong as hell and then i'll do a cut again.

With that being said. Can I get a guestimate on my BF from the RHET crew? 5'11, 178 lbs. I'm thinking probably 16-18?

Have you seen how he eat? Not a lot of people have that kind of problem gaining weight (he was stuck at 200 for like forever). I mean, that guy has serious dedication to both his diet and training and is doing pretty well but I'm sure some of his asian genes must come handy to keep that fat away....and John's super diet tricks biggrin.gif

Charly: you're still hiring John by curiosity?
