"Action men: Henry and his trainer Mark became very close as they pushed his body to new extremes"

I like how they keep using ''huge weights'' or how his dead lift form sucks big balls.

I liked the movie and he looked pretty good in it but it is quite surprising how special effects/good camera/etc. make them look way more awesome than reality. I mean, come on, pick any semi-serious bodybuilder, strength athlete or else and they would probably look better in the same circumstances. Obviously Henry Cavil is an actor but those articles are a bit too much.

these stories about ppl getting into shape for their roles are lame as shit. it's as if all of them imply the only reason you'd step into a weightroom is to look good for your shirtless scene or whatever. not like some people dwell there because that's where they practice for their actual sport which they compete in. but i guess that's how most people view 'working out' whatever the fuck that even means.

and before you get all sandvagina'd on me, yes the guy is ripped, no i am not at his bf%, but i probably snatch more than him so whatever

fuck exams have destroyed my squat. Hit 140kg for a single and it felt pretty shit. Guessing it's mostly being out of practice, wasn't getting much out of my belt, upper back wasn't tight, the bar shook a lot on the descent and I just couldn't push myself as hard as I was. Oh well, anything for a first/ goldman. Can nearly do an overhead squat with my hands and feet touching. Managed to get both hands on the rough and do one, deep as fuck stretch in my upper back. Did some of those presses oly brahs do where you sit in a full squat and press behind your neck, felt good man. I'm wasting my mobility by squatting with a super wide powerlifting squat, i'd probably be better off squatting oly style, but with my leverages the ROM is ridiculous.

For real, those pictures from daily mail are NOT jacked. Shame on anyone. My dad who never stepped into a weight room in his life but worked construction had a better physique at 30 than that.

Probably? Come on man, let's say that there's a high chance that it is true.

Fuji: I'm still waiting on those squatting videos of 150-200kg for reps that you were doing...

What do you guys use to keep track of eating (calories, macros, etc.) and exercises (recording sets, reps, weight), if anything?

There is a fitness center in the basement at OLP, was cheap and membership was quarterly. Worked great because I knew we wouldn't be there long, major downside was dumbells and nautilus only or a few months.

Exercises: a notebook and a pen. Yep, they do still exist!
