Just ordered a rack yesterday despite free gym membership. Why not? Better than spending the money on more jawnz...

Still on that "Use student ID to get into excellent campus gym even though I graduated three years ago" tip.

It'll be like a month. Still need bench/bar/plates and whatever else I decide. Kind of want a ghr but really hard to justify the cost for such a limited piece of equipment.

If there was one single use machine to buy its a ghr. I'm not a fan on single use stuff but ghr is important. Also you can roman chair crunch in it and weighted back extensions.

Contemplated buying a tiny floor based ghr for my room. About £200 for one

Yup, currently live in Lund, Sweden.

I have been debating getting into it. Lifting has over the last year become my single biggest interest and I really look forward to go lifting, whereas it used to be something I sometimes had to force myself to do. My long term goals are also more strength related than about aesthetics (well, I still don't want to be fat).

Will def join next year and see what the atmosphere there is like.

So I'm going for a 2 week trip to Crete at the end of June and I have a slight problem. I want to continue running there, as it is very beautiful and all. The problem however is that for exercise I only have a pair of knee-length running tights(excellent for hot weather) and a pair of white shorts that I use for the gym. Is it enough and is it safe to wash the tights in the sink? I don't really want to mess up these tights as I just got them.

If you have the money to go to Crete, you should have the money to buy a few more sets of shorts/running tights/whatever

I should try to research denim options, but it'd be a waste if I keep getting bigger.

Check out Outlier, nice combo of stretchy pants/tailored fit

Not sure if posted. An interesting video on genetics and muscle growth.
