depends if you want the fancy organic shit or not.

they can be as cheap as $4 or $5.

I always thought the deal wasn't as great because of all the bones n shit. B/S chicken's $2/lb right now, as are baby back ribs, so I'm probably gonna live off that for the next week.

Hopefully it goes well.. if anything it'll help my squat and my conventional deadlift

I just did the same, switched for sumo since my conventional stalled. Also back to back squats from front squatting and working on mobility to help my form.

Sumo's are really tough for me. Struggle with barely 2/3 of the weight I pull conventional. Also scrape my shins a lot more. The bar had blood stains all over it after yesterdays pulls, haha.

My best options for meat protein are buying large cuts on sale or on their sell-by date as most grocery stores will discount them at least 30-50% at that point. I got two pork shoulders for 7$ that way which turned into a weeks worth of protein.

I don't want to hear any bitching about food costs from Americans, your shit is cheap. Its still more cost efficient for me to drive two hours and pay border tolls to go to meijer and load up on frozen chicken breast than it is to buy them here.

As far as cooking goes... Disregard fancy cooking, acquire bbq sauce and slow cook the shit out of errything

The women are uglier, the living is slower, the sights are different. People are def not as sophisticated or well put together. But its cool. So relaxing, so cheap. Plus SF is kind of the same way aesthetically. SF broads are not hot IME. But its still a great town (if you can afford it).

Organic (antibiotic free) boneless chicken thighs are $3/lb here

Exactly what I was paying for non organic crap here

Food in America is def cheap. Cheaper still outside of major cities. When we were in Europe we prob spent $30 a

Just wait until you meet a southern woman who has a clean apartment and cooks you a meal.

I just got invited to squat with Jersey Iron on a Saturday soon by Tone Barbaccio..

He was a judge at the meet I just did and I guess he noticed me.

I guess I've official arrived to the scene.. I'm in awe right now. shog[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I'm horrifically guilty of it. Usually it's just vegetables that I didn't use in time (or had left over from something I made), but I've had to chuck more than a few pounds of meat over the years because I had it sitting in my fridge in anticipation of preparing a meal that kept getting pushed off. It's not excusable, either, because I've got a ton of time each day that I could be using to prepare more meals. Part of it is definitely the cleanup, which isn't terribly excusable, either, since I DO have a dishwasher. I'm moving in with the gf soon, so this should change. I'll do cook and she cleans.

I don't think his wife would like that.

Here's some interesting information for people who have drastically changed their posture. I saw a Chiro yesterday who does Gratson and ART because I was still missing just a tad bit of ROM overhead in my right arm and my knee was giving me shit and I wanted to get ahead of it ( 1 session of Gratson cleared it up and I squated this morning pain free). Anyways he said my T Spine and Internal/External rotation is great but the 3 nerves in my arms are still tight because I didn't address them while addressing muscle tightness which is giving me some limited ROM. So short story, put some nerve flossing in your prehab stuff. Shit gives me the shivers because the though of flossing your nerves through your muscles makes me want to throw up, but it helps lol.

Is there a middle ground between "do face pulls" and "nerve flossing"

Yea, he's pretty metal too. Walks around with chain links around his neck.

Not really, they are both unrelated IMO. I feel like I didn't get much out of facepulls as other things, despite doing them a lot.
