My game is hypertrophy. I dont really care about strength/1RM. Plus there are plenty of people repping ~225 natty. I am just trying to get over this threshold.

If you are doing 100lb dbs for reps you should be able to at least get a few reps at 225.

more weight moved = more hypertrophy.

Build up your base and swole out from there.

You build reps from top end strength.
You don't build top end strength from reps.

Alternate between power and hypertrophy bench days. Getting used to heavy loads makes progressing in your hypertrophy sets easier.

Ugh I hate how fucking slow recovery is when dieting. Especially when you are lifting very hard in the gym. I hate it a bit less than I hate having a 37" waist, so that's keeping me going.

Gotcha.

Not a big deal I can just have my creatine in the afternoon then just in case. Haven't had a problem with EC and creatine but haven't tried YHCL before.

Yeah, that's what I've done.

 

Didn't take pure YHCL, but I used a fat burning supplement from PES which contains yohimbine extract. Took two doses a couple of hours apart early in the day on a fasted stomach and did about an hour of walking around the city. Creatine later in the day mixed with my coffee.

there was a few months of the awkward in between phase where it wouldn't stand up or slick back properly. I started from a buzzcut in sept and only now does it look decent. I haven't but will give it a try. I have some of that Walden farms 0 cal caramel dip stuff and pb2 in the mail so I have a lot of tasty experimenting to do smile.gif

I have some chocolate PB2. My girlfriend gave me a jar of each because she doesn't like it. Thing about PB2 is that it sucks on its own but it's awesome to add peanut butter flavoring to stuff. Gonna try the sludge with the chocolate PB2 and see how it turns out.

Also, someone showed me these which I might try soon.
