In fact, at many banks, the MBA associates get staffed as analysts for the first 9-12 months. If it were me, I would probably either start as an analyst and go straight through (which I did) or do an MBA and go into PE.

That's my goal. Hopefully locking in a PE internship before I start b-school will help me do that. I still like banking a lot, though.

Have you tried forefoot strike running? Less impact on the knees and heels and more efficient running technique overall.

I don't jog / run at all. I think cardio is so damn boring and and hard to justify doing when its results are so hard to track, so I got to have some kind of "goal" or "mission" for the cardio. Only do half an hour to an hour of light walks around the city running errands on my rest days.

Treadmills are awful and I can't stand to use one unless I've got no other choice. 20-30 min on one feels like an eternity... I'd rather run for an hour outside than 20min on a treadmil

I typically never do either but I wanted to start throwing it in on my rest days just so I felt like I was doing something. Definitely really boring as hell so I just try to watch a tv show. I've never had knee pains from treadmills in the past though. Now my knee has been fucking hurting every time I walk all day... good thing I wasnt doing something that's actually hard on your knees like squats or something rolleyes.gif

No idea how people do carb lunches. The most I usually have between 6am-2pm is 30-40g from a tub of cottage cheese and peanut butter. today I had two cups of spaghetti at lunch and no amount of coffee would prevent me from feeling like it was nappy time.. Brutal. Not doing that again
