I get a hard time when I visit my folks in Virginia. My mom and other relatives always cook a lot of food, and most of it is laden with sugar, fat, or both. Family friends and relatives tell me I'm too thin and that I don't eat enough. I ignore them.

Two coworkers had a birthday today. I pigged out to celebrate my 10 lb loss haha

It's rare when I'm really dieting and following strict calories/macros.. but right now is the time for me to and I just tell it like it is.. "it doesn't fit into my diet." If they like it, fine. If they don't, they can suck a dick. Not the end of the world.

Like today.. had a meeting at work and the CAD bought us all pizza, wings, and chicken fingers. People asked and I explained. No one batted an eye.

Because your skinny, not muscular, underweight for your height and shouldn't be worried to this degree about macros (sorry if dat harsh). I would give you a hard time too, just like my friend who taught me how to lift use to give me a hard time when I thought I was jacked at 150lbs and would eat like a rabbit around him. I think once you get to TK and Charlys position and are obviously jacked people are more understanding about it.

Well, Coldsnap you do not have to make it personal. I also ask in general due to my food allergies.

Hence, pigging out for you may mean a lot of carbs and dairy, which for the mass majority entails pizza, fast food, and cheap restaurants etc.

I on the other hand have to eat a lot but also avoid such food. And though I can suck it up and just go full berserk and stuff my face with with pizza to meet my bulk, I rather not go through the weeks of bloat and stomach congestion. As I am telling my brother who does not have the same eating problems as me, hence, he is 180 / about 6" and has mass, I have to eat a "clean diet".

Perhaps I need to visit some sushi establishments that have all you can eat. Does not seem as prevalent in N. California as is in S. California.

most people would be pretty understanding if you said you had a food allergy.

Probably more so than if you say you're on a diet.

Really though, who gives a crap whether they understand or not. It's a pretty minor thing to get upset about.

Coldnap says is the truth though as many around me view me as on the slim side so always give me a side glance when I am picky about what I order.

We always have free food around the office e.g. egg tarts today. What usually happens is left over bountiful, but I cannot eat it due to the butter. ffffuuuu.gif

Am loosing fat far too quickly. Just under 180 right now with no water or glycogen because i'm on maybe 1500-1800 calories a day from whey, yoghurt and smoked fish because I don't have time to cook right now and i'm not really lifting much either. Probably just going to do upper and lower once a week or like bench/squat chins/deads until june. Feels bad man, but when I get a sickening internship at goldman next year it will all be worth it, don't give a fuck about lifting right now. At least I look better, shredded as fuck.

Give it more time and it will turn around, then they will be curious as to why you don't eat X because they want to look like you.

I make sure my nutrition is on point 100% of the time I'm eating at home which is usually M-F. If my friends want to go out, it's usually on the weekend. Order something meat heavy then order extra meat on top of that and don't sweat it. It's one meal who gives a fuck? Instead of being a finicky bitch, your friends think you're some insatiable carnivore. If they want to go out Fri, Sat, AND Sun, gotta tell em to fuck off at least one of those days.

If you're getting invited out all the time, well, I guess it sucks being Mr. Popular then. I can't relate.

Where are you guys from, where fat guilt is such a prevalent thing? Can't be on either coast, people are to stressed/coked out/rich to be fat

Note, that everything I just said was just for what I do.

For the record, I think gettoasty should eat everything under the sun and stop worrying about gaining some body fat.. sorry to break it to you, but it's going to happen if you want to get big. And if you want to get jacked and ripped, you need mass to begin with or you're just going to look like some skinny fashion boy. Which is fine, if that's what you want.

Agreed. Eat more toasty! You've added 30 pounds to your bench in the past 16 months and nothing in the past 2. I know I'm not close to the most experienced in this thread, and I hope you don't think this is a personal attack, but you're not getting the gains you should for the time you put in.

Thanks for putting it in perspective, but from last summer to end of Dec. I took a break FWIW and did not move up.
I only got a bit more serious end of Jan. 2013. redface.gif

I want your old body Charly, TBH though I understand you probably bulked a ton then cut to get so shredded. Something must have happened though because just as fast you dumped your old body and got freaking bigger and stronger.

edit:
For the record, it is known my diet is pretty crummy as it roller coasters a lot in terms of calorie intake. I go back to lurking now, back to your normal scheduled programming.

Also took this photo specifically to see if I made any progress/change in body shape and proportion. Lower body more "developed" than upper to my eye. Since, it is so well documented in here I going to post this and revisit at a later time.

What is old body charly? I want to see

Getto come to the fat yet jacked side. It's nice over here.
