Yea, I very rarely train to failure. Although I'm not doing bodbuilding so that could be why.

physique is disregard legs...wear board shorts. They also dont do any of the posing that bbers do. It's basically a modelling comp

I went to do some googling after you brought up Men's Physique. Tbh looks ghey, but also the body type is much easier to achieve.

Been at 165 comfortably

PR is 185 (something like 3x3 with a spotter)

I kind of hurt / overworked my chest during dumbbell chest day on SPBR. Tomorrow is chest day again after taking last W/Fri off. Chest has a sharp sore like pain when I stretch in certain directions. Right now it's only when I shrug and hunch forward a little and can feel like my chest is tearing/ sharp. Was doing something like 60lb DB incline 3x5 then 60lb DB flat bench 3x8 bench last Monday then experienced chest pain in the morning Wednesday.

Kind of sucks b/c I tried curling 70lb barbell yesterday on squat day and may have reopen the chest pain again due to the pull up when curling and utilizing some of my chest. =\

FWIW my bro is telling me I am tripping the fuck out and I should shut up about hurting when it is obviously just sore. My lack of protein is causing DOMS (?) and not recuperating quick enough.

I was about to go in for an ECHO b/c i thought it was athlete heart related lol (0). The radiation scares me a bit.

5'9.5 and hovering under 155lb right now. Trying to hit one 160 and maintain. Bro telling me to go 175 then cut. I weighed 170 back in high school before loosing the weight in college. ha!

In other news, my bro wants to get his arms big enough so it covers up his chest and torso from the side view. I say he is about 1/3 to a little less than 1/2 there. When he told me this I turned around to the mirrors covering the walls in the gym and looked at myself from the side view. I lol'd in my head. #RHET

This is true, but for a long time when I was doing power cleans I wasn't pushing back my ass on the catch, and thus just catching with slightly bent knees. Of course, as I increased the weight, rather than catching lower in a proper front squat position, I was forcing my legs wider and wider apart.

The solution is to always make sure you're catching in a front squat position, whether you're doing a power clean or going for a full clean.

you need to actually read what I wrote.

I fixed my powerclean by making my receive stance the same as my clean receive stance. Having them different is what was causing the fuckup.
