When I do two-a-days I do cardio at 5a then lift after work. Otherwise I lift after work. Fortunately this is usually starting no later than 5p. Any later and I am worthless. I love lifting about 6a.

Just got Lon Kilgore's Anatomy Without A Scalpel from Amazon. It looks to be a really good intro to anatomy as well as a reference for anatomy. I also like how he tells you how to find certain anatomical features.

More details here and here.

Back in the gym for a few weeks now after enough of a layoff between T-giving and Xmas that I could feel and see a difference (e.g., abs smoothed out considerably). Noticed an improvement in performance (cardio endurance and strength) well before I saw any physical changes.

A few days ago, I went to the gym, after finishing bench press and leg extensions, I did weighted chins and weighted lunges with no break, I immediately started feeling dizzy and started going in and out of split second blackouts. I felt like crap for about 10 minutes and had to lay down because I was kind of stumbling. I decided to leave early and not finish my workout (obviously). This has never happened to me before but my guess is because I didn't sleep too well the night before. Anybody ever experience this? P.S. I just lost my 3rd pair of lifting gloves, feel so stupid about this.

What was your cardio intake that day? I have generally felt like shit during UD2.0 on the 3rd day of the low carb phase when your glycogen is really depleted.

No cardio, I actually rarely do cardio. I've done UD2 before and never felt this way during UD2, depletion is hard but not blackout hard. This was a special and isolated case, very odd!

Not CARDIO... I meant CARB... sorry about that. Perhaps your carb intake was a bit low that day?

I was working out fasted, around 11:30am, never had any issues though. I do love my carbs, so I don't think carbs was the issue.

I get those same dizzy spells and feelings if I push myself too hard (especially after a lot of cardio) and then go straight to the sauna. I found I need a bit more of a rest than I used to to really make sure I get my heart rate back down to a comfortable resting level more smoothly.

Re: Losing your 3rd pair of gloves... I once lost three locks at the gym within about a 10 day period. Talk about feeling stupid! lol

I bet your blood sugar was stupid low. I tried that fasted workout stuff, it just killed my lifts and made me feel how you described. Get some glucose in your arteries.

I've been doing fasted workout for a couple months now with positive results.

Just finished a cardio/core workout tonight after eating a full meal 3 hrs earlier. I felt like I was gonna pass out & throw up.

Won't be doing that again.

I pulled legit 2 a day 4 days a week for a couple of weeks, not so long ago. I felt like a beast of fuel to testosterone during this period but have crashed about 8-9 every night in their final year. All this activity took a toll on my joints and my elbows, wrists and knees were becoming a bit overwhelmed at the end of it.
