SS will make you more bear mode than it will make you otter or whateverthefuckyoucalledit. IA SPBR is probably what you're looking for.

Also: 5'8" at 120lbs is skinny. Put on some weight, then buy clothes that you don't look like a ten year old hipster in. It sucks, but then you look way better naked and don't look like you're still going through puberty. You don't need to go full out binge and put on 70 pounds, but another 30-40 won't kill you, and if you eat right and lift right, you'll look way better. trust me.

Russled as fuck, lost an elbow sleeve, feels weird pressing without them. Wasn't any weaker, just a little bit less stable. Gonna buy huge double ply ones now for the lolz, come at me massive bounce out of the bottom of my press.

Agreed on the putting on weight. Was 120lb 6'2", now 195lb. Look so much better, no amount of dior homme and mcqueen can make 120lb look good.

I'm just short of three months doing something that resembles SS since I'm not as strict as the book would have you and I'm not looking like a powerlifter yet. My legs *are* growing more than my upper body but still I think it's a good program for your first few months because you only have to worry about the main lifts. Maintaining linear gains is really hard and you have to eat a ton.

You can keep doing the main lifts, just schedule them in a way that is more aesthetic. I hate SS. Its actually a better program for women, aesthetically.

at what point did/do rhet brahs use wrist support while pressing?

i worked up to a 1rm max floor press the other day and I had pretty bad discomfort in my wrists even when doing triples. I ended up putting on my actual straps since they're pretty wide and tie tightly around the wrist and it made them feel better, but unracking and getting set up was still far harder on the wrists than the actual pressing was on the chest.

is there a good middle ground between full on wrist wraps and nothing or should I just grab some proper wraps?

also I dunno what you guys are doing in your rehbands but after the better part of a year mine aren't that bad. my hockey equipment truly smells like a dead body, gort can probably back me up on the joys of hockey bag stink.

Well theres different levels of wrist wraps. Normal red and black inzers are fairly soft, I wear Titan THPs and they cut off the blood flow to my hands and theres ones even harder then that. I wear them whenever I'm doing a max set up to about 8 reps.

Mmmm wrist straps, good question. I had to stop doing DB press because once I went to 105/hand the weight would aggravate an old wrist injury. I would love to go back to DB press if wraps enabled that. I have dainty ass wrists though and never train them... I should probably get on that

Anyone here ever used yohimbine? Tempted to get some but that would probably mean i'd also had to get a super precise scale for the small dosage (0.2g / kg BW) and those a expensive.

Alternatively i'd just get Alphamine from PES first as a starter for fat burners.

I have the medium length Rogues (good for 3 wraps around) and wear them when I'm benching over 90lb dumbbells or 225+ on flat barbell. I really do notice a stability difference and they're certainly worth the $18 or whatever.

Lol, buncha skinny bros in the gym tonight. I think I was the strongest one there... which should never, even be possible. One dude was following me around copying all my lifts. He even went in the back room to do some dead lifts, I guess where he thought I couldn't see him through the plastic wall? Then was asking me about good mornings... except he was just arching his back, looked like a hunch back, didn't even bend at the hips at all.

Pressing movements all took a major strength hit in the gym today. Last week DB press 34 x 5,4 this week only managed 2 sets of 3 and incline went from 2 easy sets of 6 at 30 to 2 x 4 at 28kg. Weighted dips were the only thing that went up. Not sure why they suffered, pulling strength is good as ever. Felt defeated. Following yesterdays discussion might be worth getting some wrist and elbow wraps im wondernig if part of the reason my pressing is so shit is my tiny wrists and lack of stability. Wish i could just do dips, flyes and crossovers pressing movements hate me so much. Then i saw a short skinny breh get a 1RM on the bench with 105kg, feltbadman.
