dled 2 singles at 405 without a belt for the first time. feels harder and slower but somehow better. Deloading next week while SCUBA diving in Cebu for 7 days biggrin.gif

Like a long deload? That's a sure fired way to lose strength. You maintain intensity and cut volume (same weight, same reps, significantly less sets). If its good enough for Lyle McDonald its good enough for me.

Lean gains recommends reverse pyramid training on a cut, which is pretty low volume.

Haha oddly enough he's the only one in the gym I trust to spot me on squats. He's an vet of powerlifting. Real old school too.

Thanks for the nice words. A 570 squat would be really nice at the meet.

I was thinking about doing a split like this, but with shoulders and legs together. My shoulder workout is pretty quick (behind the neck press, upright rows, lateral raises)
