What do I do with my traps and shoulder blades when I do dips. Do I need to keep my traps down or is it ok to let them shrug? Shit week for lifting, I haven't eaten proper food or really trained, attempted a weight I should have been able to hit for a triple on the squat and got pinned on 1 rep. On the other hand I did pull a girl who modeled for burberry so it's not all that bad.

Not okay to shrug, shoulders down and back fully externally rotated shoulders, inside of elbows pointing foward.

It's just like 99% of the lifts in the gym, you want your scapula back and down for better stability and healthy shoulder... I've seen some of the pro bodybuilders do a dip variation that's a shrug.

Did lower body work at the gym on Thursday morning. Pretty typical stuff, DLs, TRX squats (cant do heavy squats yet), adductors and some side shuffling type stuff on a treadmill. Felt okay at the time but now, more than 48 hours later, feels incredibly sore especially when I squeeze my thighs together in an adductor type movement. Is it normal to be this sore after a couple days? I havent done that many lower body work-outs post hip surgery (besides PT) but none have been this rough to recover from.

RHET brahs, I am doing a good deed. My bros little brother is a swagtard. He's like 15 or something and spends all his money on shit like the Givenchy birds of paradise shirt and raf high tops and has started wearing shorts over skinny jeans. I basically did the same thing at his age, but with Dior Homme. Bringing him to the gym with me next weekend to teach him how to squat so I can deliver him from being a massive bellend. Obviously instead of learning how to squat properly I'm going to teach him how to do a wide stance box squat in knee wraps and a belt.

Why not just front squat? Super safe and easy to teach.

Trying to hide a scrawny body with luxury clothes, seemed like a good idea at the time right? Never worked for any of us.
