Random health and exercise thoughts - Page 177

Both are easy to carry, a simple tupperware is more than enough. You only need a scoop of creatine per day really. You also don't need whey if you plan on eating enough meals/meat, you can obviously bring along a few scoop in case of.

Even if you piss it all out over the course of your travels, the "loading process" takes a week. Just get enough protein (70-100g a day) and you'll be fine. Weight your bodyweight excercises the best you can (pushups/squats with your suitcase on your back, etc.). Remember, fitness is a process, not a goal. Don't think "oh i'm being set back" but rather "oh i'm faced with a different set of circumstances how will i adapt my lifestyle to suit them"

basically, it takes months of hard work, won't get ruined by few weeks of less than optimal training.

I think the whole 2 weeks off thing is more a psychological setback than anything. Dude just started SS and is probably ripping it up, so having a 2 week setback can be a mental kick in the ass. Don't sweat it, dude.

One of the best quotes I've ever heard regarding weight training: "do what you can with what you have." 2 weeks off, no big deal. Eat your meat and veggies, do what you can, but don't worry about it. You still have months of beginner gains on SS to enjoy...

plus...body weight exercises like pushups and dips are still the shit.

Don't really know if this is where I should post this, but does anyone know any good medication or pills or anything for aggression. I have since I was fairly young had very bad problems with it and recently its gotten quite bad. I thought it was getting worse because I used lots of pre work out stimulants, but I haven't used them for a while and its still bad. Its not me being angry and miserable all the time, its just I can suddenly get into a pretty horrible state if someone says something and its gotten me into a bit of shit lately and it does need sorting out.

^^A little bit of Haldol should do the trick. J/K, although drugs like it are used to control aggression. I think trying an SSRI first would be your best bet.

Re: Aggression

If you're not facing prison time, perhaps it's just a Guy Thing.

Nothing, no steroids or drugs or anything. Its gotten me into several fights recently and they've all gone fine for me, but I'd rather not get the shit kicked out of me or hurt someone too much. Also I was very verbally abusive to my girl friend last night, which was pretty much unprovoked so I would really like to get this sorted out before I mess something up.

Fuji, you should ask your doctor about clonazepam (generic Klonopin) or some other benzodiazepine as a PRN to supplement any SSRI therapy he may put you on when you mention your symptoms.

Haha I fucking knew you were a psycho ex-boyfriend.

stronglift squats are up to 235, low-bar position makes it much more bearable.

I failed for the 3rd time with 225 bench, got 3x4, 3x4, 3x3 so it's back to 215 bench next workout.

Shoulder press 135 and no signs of slowing, love this program.
