Are me and conceptionist the only non manlets in this thread (manlet is 6' or less)

Massive upper back, mid back, quad and ab doms from front squats yesterday, feels good man. Don't know if they really count as front squats since I squat with my feet nearly at the collars.

New economic/game theory of the day, which will hopefully end the straps argument. If you consider your grip strength as one like person or something and everything else strength as another one then using straps when your grip cannot keep up is pareto efficient. Although you loose some utility by not getting forearm work in the rest of your body gains greater utility by being able to handle heavier loads with less CNS fatigue.

Slept with a girl doing a BA at a liberal arts college in ameriland, am I going to get dumber?

Im 182cm, dunno if that's considered manlet or not. Average I'd say. Also don't know if I'm in this tread or not.

The tendons in my elbow hurt like hell from squats even though I switched to the grip suggested in Starting Strength two weeks ago when they first started to hurt.
Any suggestions other than ice and NSAIDs?

depending on who you ask ITT an argument for a pareto improvement in that situation might arise, thus making the current allocation pareto inefficient

sorry brah, 11/32" under the manlet cut off line.

I had the same problem, turned out I had the bar too low on my back and basically had all the weight on my elbows, putting it higher on my back helped a lot as did elbows sleeves. If the pain persists you could consider wrapping a pair of straps around the bar and holding onto them in front of you as handles to take al the strain off your shoulder and arms.

Fak just sold my Rogue Do-Wins to Flame because the heel was too tall for me (0.75") and they just released a 0.5" model this morning... wat do?

With the SS grip (straight wrists and thumb on the bar) there should be no weight on my elows anymore. Maybe the pain is still from my previous grip. I'll try a higher bar next time. Maybe a wider grip will help?

F*ck. I'm a manlet :'(

Also, just 10kg away from the 1000lbs club now : )

Guessing the SS grip is fairly narrow as in like little finger on the ring or something? That could be why too, when I had the same problem I remember someone suggesting i slowly widen my grip, still only do ring finger on the ring, but thats the grip i use for all movements pretty much.

We have different bar typs. Sucks. Cheap uni gym.
SS grip is as narrow as possible with thumbs on the bar. I'll widen my grip next week and see how it goes.

Nah, I think Stinger's pretty tall too.

Being tall and naturally skinny, you're pretty much guaranteed to be aesthetic once you've gotten stronger and push big numbers. You'll look pretty thin up to that point though. I remember my early teens when I was envious of my short friend who looked pretty aesthetic despite only riding a BMX and doing some cardio.
