I think that the analogy is sound, however - there are people who are capable of simply paying no attention to the BR WAYWT and those who are so over involved and over sensitive that it exists as some kind of affront to their senses. Really, what is more offensive, in the big picture - the BR fit or the collective shit fit that the same people throw every time they think someone isn't following their advice closely enough? But I'm biased, because the BR pics don't even register with me, and in a large part, I consider them to be par for the course and in fitting with the intent of the thread.

Is it bad that these style references don't even register with me anymore? Brb only three fits I wear are scrubs, workout clothes, 511s and a Hanes V-neck

Today I learnt not to try lift on 150mg of aromodafinil. Brb heart racing, sweating fucking loads, shaking and couldn't keep my balance. Kept falling over in bulgarian split squats. Still got 5x10 out with 32.5kg dbs, but needed like 10 minute breaks between sets to sit down and stop shaking. I should however be able to get tonnes of maths done today. I was sweating so much I had to reapply liquid chalk every set and it was coming off during the set and the shaking made it impossible to hold onto the dumbbells.

32.5 kg db split squats are quite impressive tho.

In other news, diet its working. I haven't cut out sweets as completely but I do pb instead of cookies/other garbage and measure that shit so its like 100-200 cals tops.

form isn't beautiful to be honest, front leg is kept fairly close to my body so depth isn't amazing and it ends up being pretty much all glutes and quads. I loose my balance right away if the front foot is too far forward. Usually end up having to reposition after 5 reps because i fall over. Frank Yang got 120lb dbs, feels bad man.

Going for 465 x 2 x 5 this Friday. So motivated on squats.

I'm on my way to hitting a 495 x 5 soon, which would put me around a 575 squat for May's competition.

Bodyweight is also inching upwards closer to 210. Should be an easy cut to 198's for weigh-ins. Sometime I should be able to do in my sleep (literally).

I just realized that if I hit a 575 squat in competition in May, it would shoot me to the #19 strongest squatter in the 198's raw in the U.S and #24 strongest squatter in the 198's raw in the world.

Probably won't ever be ranked for my bench lol (Ranks only for the top #50... I mightttt break into the top 40's)

But squat, deadlift, and total is definitely going to happen. The total being the most important for me obviously.

Well I wasn't.. my last competitions, I never had to cut weight. Just walked in and weighed in at 190-193. But I've been trying to gain weight to be more competitive in my weight class. Top level guys in the 198's are around 225-240 when they step on the platform.

At my current weight, it would be easy to make the 181's but I don't have a big urge to.

I want to be around 215-220 to compete in the 198's. And then think about moving up to the 220's (I'll have to be around 235-250 for that).

Why isn't it based on your weight at competition?

You have a period of time between weighing in and lifting so in that time you want to put on as much weight as you can.
