Yea I live by upright rows, I do 8-10 sets a week.

One of the problems with upright rows is elbow pain. I found with them I had a lot less elbow discomfort doing them on a cable machine with a rotating straight bar rather than using a barbell.

At your level, you really should just focus on the compound lifts with full body workouts and make sure you eat enough (that includes proper protein intake of 200g per day from quality sources). It seems like you want to get good progress and you try to talk like you know your shit, but really you don't.

Cinnamon toast for post workout meal? Seriously?

Do your research, put the effort in and be strict about it, or you'll make no progress.

don't bother. i think he's cognizant of this fact and doesnt care either way so hey, whatever i guess.

single arm with a DB also gives no shoulder or elbow pain

Feeling the effects from yesterdays "pull" workout, amazing back doms. All i did was 3 x 3 pull ups, then lat pulls and seated rows all focusing on the squeeze etc. Never get any doms after heavy BB rows and DB rows. Also rear delts very painful, never felt anything in them before its the first time i did some rear delt flies, feels good.

I couldn't get more than 8 reps off with 110lbs on Sunday. I don't know if they are any harder/different from front squats though. But I go ATG

lol fuck you dudes. All I ask is for help and never once, that I remember, aside from speaking with little bit of experience, do I give critiques or be super judgmental. I post in here as much as any other member who rants / needs to vent their case, or share for the sake of sharing.

Just because I do not do exactly do what you guys recommend you don;t need to get butthurt about it. Some of what you say is common sense, which I do take into consideration a lot. I stay open minded as much as possible but by nature I am also a very cautious individual and thus skeptical.

lol, im not being butthurt, im stating facts. you largely disregard the advice that you ask for and need to have things explained to you multiple times, that's all. which is fine - that doesn't make you a bad person, nor am i getting sore over it. im not judging, so whatever floats your boat. i was just warning off the other guy because this literally is what happens so you don't need to coldsnap out or anything.

Still do not understand why your tone needs to be so damn condescending.

FWIW I'm not fat so there's no coldsnapping out of anything (?)

Well toasty, the thing is that you wrote it in an "know it all" tone + you've stated earlier that you want progress, yet you can't even bring yourself to do the basic stuff that is required.

Sure, you can eat your toast and disregard any advice, but then you can't expect any decent progress. I'm fine as long as I don't have too read this frustrating shit. It reminds me of talking about fitness to family members and girls. So much false expertise, unwillingness to change habits and no patience, willpower or self-control. You might actually know what to do and if so, just do it.

im honestly not trying to be a jackass, so sorry about that. and, to your credit, recently you've said you are okay with not getting optimal progress since you don't really want to alter your lifestyle/diet, etc. which is fine as long as you understand that. for the longest time, though, you would ask for help and then disregard the help you were given and continue to complain about your lack of progress. that's frustrating for anyone trying to help you.

what happens in the waywt thread if someone posts a terrible fit, asked you for advice, and then ignores the advice and continues to post terrible fits while saying "toasty, i dont understand why my fits sucks so bad, what do i do?" that person would rightfully get ripped a new one and you'd be incredibly annoyed with that person. same deal.
