What's your height weight and average daily cals during the week? Are you going into Keto?? You are just eating lean meat or veggies as well?

5'6, was 204lbs, now 197. I'd like to get down to about 180-185, where I'd be pretty lean.

Basically just eating lean protein. Having a little bit of veggies via salads or kimchi, but not much.

Good luck with that...I'll be curious about your results. Are you keeping up your lifting? I have zero energy to lift when I'm on that much of a deficit. You must be only eating 1000 cal max so at least 1000-1500 deficit.

Yeah, haven't had any problems. Other than a brief experiment with CBL I've eaten very low carb the past few years, so I'm pretty fat adapted. Long conditioning workouts are tough right now, but mostly after the fact, not during.

Haha just a little fat, unfortunately. But I think if I can get down in the 180s I should be pretty lean.

hey health freaks, what exercises would you guys recommend to get your thighs to look 'thicker,' especially when you're looking at them from the side?

according to this picture, i'm talking about the biceps femoris:

also, do squats make your butt bigger? shog[1].gif

Deep squats, heavy good mornings, heavy deads, 3 years of olympic lifting. I'm super thick around that area.

Maybe the key word here is deep, but whenever I do squats (which I believe to be deep, btw), I feel like only my quads (and butt cheeks) are getting bigger, so while my thighs look bigger when you're looking at them front-on, the sides of my legs never seem to develop..

Hmm. I don't really know tbh, I've always had really developed legs from olympic lifting so I've never taken the time to study the musculature. I don't think whatever muscle starts behind the knee cap can get that big, you best bet would be the front.

After do oly squats, cleans, power snatches etc for 2 months, my thighs now measure 21.5 on a 1.79m, 73 kg frame.

I also realize my hips look as wide as my chest.

Posting up smaller guards in the mid-range is much fun now. Hope I can soon be dunking on people.
