Gonna see how many reps I can get with 225lb on the box squat on thursday. Got 20 fairly easy, might try 30 with knee wraps, but I'd probably get gangrene in my calves after having them on for that long. Had my first PM in like a year asking how I changed my wardrobe when I dirty bulked to 210, feel so loved.

hell yeah just realized I can do 3 mods this sem, 1 in the summer and graduate with 2 months to spare before starting job in Sept

Also, studying international econs this sem, stuff is a level 1 course and I should get an A.

That means lots of time to acquire gainz.

Grad photo gonna be me in a gown squatting 3 plates ATG. Life is good.

So I lifted with that same older powerlifting dude tonight. He wanted to rep out 225 on bench...he did 50 reps.

I know we discussed this elsewhere but I finally recorded myself doing DLs. I round my lower back when I start, but then maintain that. Good, bad?

Bad. Some flexion in the thoracic is fine, but you really want your lumbar as close to neutral as possible, or you put some unfriendly stress on your vertebrae.

In more closely analyzing my form I noticed two things.. I round a little -- probably not enough to damage, but not worth risking anyway. I think the main cause is I'm starting too horizontally. Need to drop my hips/bend my knees more, pull the bar all the way back, and keep my chest up.

Yes, literally everyone in this thread's technique is far worse. Literally. I posted the video because I thought we could all learn from him.
