I use a really light band for them and focus on spreading my elbows apart without retracting the scapula, never really noticed my head doing anything. Occasionally i'll do them heavy in the gym on a cable machine and try use the same form, but it ends up turning into a high row if I go to failure.
Gonna start doing what my bodybuilding friend (successful bodybuilder, not poverty shit bodybuilder) tells me to do for 10 weeks to get back my mass/ acquire more aesthetics and because doing box squat doubles gets boring as fuck. More muscle size can't hurt my lifts either I'm guessing. Recommended I do push/pull/legs twice a week because I told him im not doing a phaggy chest,back,arms,shoulders,legs split. Did this for pull

3x6-10 snatch grip barbell shrugs
3x8-12 face pulls/3x8-12 rear delt flies
