I do. Same goes for deadlifting. I don't want to squat/deadlift facing a mirror if I won't be in competition.

I have not but I know people who have. If you've got a legit abdominal hernia, you should be able to see it. It may or may not hurt that much, but if you feel around your abdomen you can feel the tissue poking out where it shouldn't.

Pullovers actually. First set felt tight, nothing major. Second set, the same. Went to do tri-pressdowns and felt like my abs were going to pop. Damn high pain tolerance...

If you haven't actually herniated anything, it should heal on it's own given proper rest. If anything is poking out though, you'll need to see a doctor.

Ahh assistance works feel good, some losses though, I couldn't do 5 x 10 chinups failed on last set.  Going to deload from my old assistance max to start this time doing bench flyes with only 50lb bells. doms in my forearms and lower back from DL day, but feels so nice.  Ran 2 miles in my new newtons, seriously best running shoes. (others I've had NB Minimus Trail, Nike Free and brooks green silence)

Agreed. If you want to check your form, have someone video you. During the lift, all you should be concentrating on is the lift itself, not what it looks like in the mirror. Watching yourself while you squat is distracting and dangerous.

Fuck you style forum for making me go to the gym when I'm still ill as fuck. Whiteyed then vomited after 1 double and had to go home. Filmed it though and took a photo of my knee angle on the box so you can see my I'm past parallel. Was a 75% double and it felt like 90%. I'm down 15lb from the illness and it was my first time squatting in 2 weeks. WIll redo the video next week when I'm hopefully feeling better, but I'll post this up anyway in a bit.
