Still don't understand why your trying to cut.
http://www.rawpowerlifting.com/classifications.htm
thought I'd post this here
class 3 deadlift
class 4 squat
not even on the chart for my bench.
Feels badman.

I haven't weighed myself w/in last two months (tracking weight too frequently makes me OCD), but going off my usual average of 195...

Squat = III
Deads = IV :(
Bench = II :slayer:
Curl = III

That's fun. Thanks for posting link.

Easy explanation, your metabolism is crashed. Or could be something else. But probably that.

Why would that be? I've felt hungry a lot of the time. In theory i should be able to bulk on less than 3000 now, but i bet thats not gonna happen. It does seem that my metabolism may have slowed down though.

Gonna start the bulk next week i think, start SS again, should probably aim to gain 1lb per week at first and then just eat loads and gain 2lb per week or so when i get near to the weights that i peaked at last time. Aiming for probably 160kg deadlift, 110 squat and 70 bench.

Lowered calories for a lengthened amount of time causes metabolism to slow down. I'm sure you already knew that so I'm confused as to why you asked.

And if it wasn't super apparent to you, you actually knew it all along given this sentence - "In theory i should be able to bulk on less than 3000 now, but i bet thats not gonna happen." In theory, more calories = weight gain. But also, more calories = faster metabolism. And 3000 isn't that much so once your metabolism catches up, you know that you'll have to eat more than that to gain.

or short, all the jackedness in the world cant save you if youre short.

Haha that too. As much as would love a more compact body for powerlifting, I wouldn't trade even an inch off my height for the highest total in the world.

I haven't been eating a lot over the last two weeks. I need to eat some more to speed back up. Thanks for calling out on that. I've gotten so used to maybe one decent meal a day (due to holidays throwing off schedules, etc)

Now that it's back to school, it'll be more normalized.

Are you me, jarude? Less than half an inch away from 5'11" here.

Anyone have any suggestions or advice regarding dip/pullup belts? Gym doesn't have one and was thinking of bringing my own (and **** holding dumbbells between your legs).

Proper belt + chain. Don't need a dip belt.

5'6" and a fairly jacked 162 here. When I was single, I would I slay mad ***** (now i'm wifeyd up). Wear thick soled boots, slim clothing and holler at girls shorter than you. Most people respond to personality and the way you present yourself. Just focus on being awesome with the **** you can change and the world will fall in line.

Not saying it's not a challenge sometimes, but hey,
