Alright, hadn't really thought about it like that.

I'm not really into powerlifting. I just want to be able to put up respectable numbers and look aesthetic.

Is this more favorable for me?

looks like cats are on dat der IIFYM:
Quote:
Cats are able to select their foods in wet and dry combinations and in different amounts in order to achieve a consistent intake of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
...
In a series of three experiments, cats were provided wet and dry offerings in different combinations (150-gram portions for dry and 190-gram portions for wet) and in three-day cycles. Sometimes, they were offered the wet and dry foods at the same time or sequentially, i.e., wet and then dry and vice versa.

According to the findings, the cats always achieved the same balance of protein, carbohydrates and fats no matter what combinations or sequences of food they were provided.

The study says that balance was “remarkably consistent across all experiments.”

The report says cats have an innate target of getting 52 per cent of their daily calorie intake from protein, 36 per cent from fat and 12 per cent from carbohydrates. The experiments show that domesticated cats have managed to regulate their intake to match that of their feral counterparts.

looks like fucking cats can sort out their macros pretty well, i wonder if all the fat kitties are eating 52/12/36 too.

Basically cats have a preference curve and are maximising dat der utility.

nah basically animals without the capacity for thought are able to eat to support their activity levels while here on internets we have many threads and pages of intelligent human beings needing to be told numerous times the underlying concepts behind picking up a fork

I reckon they'd make better gains on IF though.

I saw your video. What's 'paused' about that bench?

Quick momentum loss on chest - vital for a white light on the lift in any fed (some a slightly longer pause than others but they all require a pause).

With touch and go benching, I can put up more.

For example, I did 225 x 20 touch and go benching after those singles. I probably couldn't even get 15 with a pause.
