I was just curious since you mentioned taking some "before" pics and have made references to abs and the merits of CBL since then. I know there are CBL success stories elsewhere online, but I usually think those things are cooler when they happen within a community like we've got here. Like, a video of Charly hitting a deadlift PR is more interesting to me than a video of a stranger hitting one, because I "know" one and don't know the other. Maybe I'm a weirdo.

Gotcha, i know what you mean. I still got a lil more work to do. It was awesome how fast the abs showed up but the love handles are still hanging around. I heard these will go away in another month or so, and I guess it's my genetics to loose fat there last. So at the moment i sorta look weird because i lost fat first in my chest then upper abdomen, so love handles are still in full effect and look larger because i'm cut in just above it.. at least that's what someone said when they looked at the picture. This is my first time loosing weight so I guess this is normal.

My rest day dinner:- 2048 kcal, 124g protein

283g letture (48 kcal)
salad dressing (~300 kcal)
1lb chicken w/olive oil (550 kcal)
1 can white beans (950 kcal)
50g parmesan (~200kcal)
1 avacado (280 kcal)

Alright, one more question about these damn bands.

 

If I weigh 185, how much force (weigh) should the band produce? I'm looking at two alternatives, one band producing 50-75 lbs and the other 100-120. I'm mainly gonna use it for leg/lower back mobility exercises and some shoulder stuff.

Swimming is the best cardio / calorie burning exercise out there and there is little to no impact on joints. I've been a swimmer my whole life and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to shape up.No doubt a relaxing form of exercise means weight lost by swimming is fun too!

Deadlift getting hard to progress now at 135 for 5. Might switch to rack pulls for a while, not done them before. Also how long between reps before deadlifts are no longer a set? I would say i take up to 5 seconds on heaviest sets. Touch and go on lighter ones.

I'd rec against touch and go, only because it's so easy to develop poor form. When I was deadlifting I would set the weight down after every rep and make sure it was positioned properly above my feet.
