Well, the problem for me and many others with this issue is that it hinders progress and has a risk of hurting you. I only noticed my form was bad and posterior chain weak after being stuck at a 80 kg squat for while and eventually getting lower back pain.

I don't think there's anyone here with great numbers that has this problem. It''s me, maple and flame that I know of and none of us are particularly strong (except flame maybe?). I get what you're saying but at my level I need this adressed to be able to make strength gains without the risk of injury.

Because wendler says to lift in them and wendler is fucking alpha and i'm too hardcore to give a fuck what i lift in so I just lift in beaten up chucks covered in chalk from my heavy barbell movements doing 5/3/1 and pushing prowlers because i'm strong and athletic and too retarded to write my own program.

lul no I'm crying with joy because I just got an email saying rugby training was canceled. Wendler 5/3/1 brown nosing is russling my jimmies on other forums.

What about that dude that wrote 4 Hour Work Week and came out with that workout prog that he called like the 30 Minute Body or something and made these absolutely ridiculous claims. I have mad respect for that dude because he's clearly trollin deep.

seriously. people eat this shit up hook, line, and sinker - i think we're all somewhat cynical towards it since pretty much everyone in here has spent lots of their own free time researching and reading up on diet and exercise and know what they're looking at. the uninitiated will angrily defend anything the second their confirmation bias kicks in; i literally can not have a conversation tangentially relating to fitness with a future inlaw without having this stupid fucking static contraction tony robbins workout brought up.
