first time in the gym in 4 months. gotta say, those bands were a fucking LIVE SAVER. I retained a good portion of my strength from before I left. Obviously not all, but anything helps. now to lose that backpacker weight that I packed on.

Yeah I call bullshit on the some people aren't built to go past parallel. Every 2 year-old in the world can squat ass to ankles. However, if you've spent enough of your life in bad positions and letting your RoM shrink, it can get to the point where it's basically unreversable.

Breaking parallel is ok, but my rear goes under when I do ATG.

Lifetime of sitting around.

Will post a vid on wed, please give suggestions on how to correct.

My friend advocates seated sumo stretches for 2-3mins.

Bros how bad is having one day a week during a bulk where you dont eat much? I workout sat, sun, tues, wed and on friday i have a dont think about my diet day. Which for me means i dont eat a lot, maybe 2500 calories or so. Just as a break from cramming down food all week long. I seem to be gaining about 0.5lb per week, which is slower than i usually would but i could do with keeping the fat gains at bay as far as possible.

Good point. That's what I see women wear at yoga.

Saw this for the first time a few days ago, manly tears were shed. lol at spaghetti falling out of his pocket.

Had my abercrombie interview, asked what I do in my spare time, said I lift. Everyone else after me starts saying they lift. Lol none of them even lifted.

I wear vests like that, yolo.

At least 2 people at my gym with average physiques wear these with "ripped" written across the front.

So humbling to just squat bw now.

I have this problem as well.
I started squatting in april april with 50 kg or so and moved up to a BW squat of 80 kg just after summer. Found out my form was shit. Buttwink as soon as I hit parallel.

Read up on flexibility and mobility work and have done it every day since. Swapped squats to box squats with a wide stance. Do more work on hamstrings and gluted to build that weak, inflexible posterior chain which causes butt wink. 3 months later and pretty much still the same. Still can't squat to parallel properly.

I've played a lot of videogames when I was younger and still spend at least 2 hours sitting at the computer daily. My hamstrings have been really tight for as long as I can remember. Can't reach my toes with straight legs.
