I've had powerlifters and trainers (not average trainers.. ones I actually respect), told me that they've told some people who don't eat a lot to eat 6 meals a day because it'll help boost metabolism to keep fat off while building muscle. But they're were just secretly trying to get their weak/skinny ass to eat more frequently to get more calories in hahaha

Sometimes I think Kiefer always has a secret behind CBL. Before CBL was even released I was lifting at a hardcore powerlifting gym, John Pinder actually knows all the people there because he's a local, anyways there's boxes and boxes of oreos and teddy grahams that the lifters would slam after a workout.. and all these dudes were huge.

I'm gonna get flamed for this question but anyone here ever go to a tanning "salon" during the winter? I hate note getting "sun" and being super pale, not good for my complexion

yeah, I fly south and sit on the beach for about a week.

Solves my problem.

It's also more interesting than going to a tanning salon.

How?
yea, i spend like 150 a week

having a job that feeds you lunch every day smile.gif

i zig-zag my calories based on the menu for the week. if there is some kind of meat or high protein meal, i will go over maintenance. if its lacking in protein or is pretty carby, like a pasta day, i will go under. $50/month for veggies and the rest goes into cottage cheese, random meat on sale, or the averaged cost of casein.

just did some damage at meijers again; daisy cottage cheese was on sale so i came out with 20. they keep for months so i probably should have gotten more... best part was i was on company business driving people home so i had my mileage reimbursed, fuck yeah awesome employers.

Many of the Planet Fitness locations have tanning beds you can use and their membership is only $10/month...much cheaper than an actual salon.

I plan on doing that come springtime when I need to start tanning for contest prep.

Non-troll response: I know you lose mass and strength but how significant is it if you don't go for maintenance for a while, particularly if you're still lifting heavy and eating significant protein
PS That ridiculous pullup gif is always on the right now thanks jarude
