I'd be stoked on that deal. Whites no bueno, shit would be blue in a week lol

I go to school where he used to go.

How much of a saving is it to go 7 months over 3 + 3?

7 months for sure - you're more likely to hit a sticking point and hence benefit more from the advice he gives you the further along you are.

did sumo deads for the first time in a while today. Very rarely do I use my strongest form on deadlifts because of the CNS fatigue, would rather do more squats. Hip flexors are now killing me, didn't even go that heavy only worked up to 180kgx2

started prep phase for CBL yesterday i.e. 10 day atkins.

I remember doing atkins as a fat kid first 3-6 days so miserable before ketosis kicks in.

Rewarded myself by making grilled salmon with a side of filet mignon.

Louisiana style rubbed pork chops for lunch tomorrow.

Yessssss. I just hope you never had to do the dishes, I can only imagine how brutal that is, especially when people leave so much half eaten food.

Any one currently running or who has run SL 5x5 I am a bit confused about 1x5 on DL since he elsewhere used 1 x 5 to signal madcow sets. So is that just one set of DL?

Yep. Warm up then pull one set of 5 of your max.

Went to workout but decided to play basketball instead because I hadn't played since summer and I missed it. Shot around a little and decided to jump up towards the rim and I noticed how easy it was. Figured what the hell, might as well try to dunk since it's been a while since I have and damn, it was really easy. I probably dunked 20 - 25 times (yes, I was excited - also two handed from a stationary position which I had never done before).

I find it hard to explain this though because (I'm just over 6'1") not only am I the heaviest I've ever been (215 lbs), but I'm not squatting as much as I have before (currently only at 240 lbs after some setbacks and my knee surgery a while ago). I also know I'm carrying more fat in the midsection than I have before, but I'm also stronger in the upper body than before (as evidenced by pullups). So it seems in two major strength to bodyweight tests, I'm better off now than before even though I'm heavier and (I don't feel) significantly stronger. Could it just be rest given that I haven't done any actual cardio for months (and obviously no plyometrics either)? Any ideas? Not super important, but I just find it a little strange (and yes, the baskets were standard height you trolls).
So how are my chances?

Been training to dunk since August. Can dunk a tennis ball so far but gains aren't as fast as I hoped. 5'10, 160 and squatting 220 for 5.

When you rack pull from knee level is it more like a deadlift or a stiff legged deadlift?

Everyone I know has skipped the prep phase. I was like 3 days in and was talking to the guys at my old gym, saying I felt fatigue. They were like lol we all skipped the prep phase.

Todays my first day back on CBL. Got the coffee and coconut milk flowin this morning
