OM NOM NOM

Semi-related: My office moved to the same offices as Time inc and now I get Cooking Light. Turns out there are some totally bomb recipes in there. Most of the meals are fairly low-fat (good for work-out days) and high protein.

Holy fuck I'm in heaven.

Please PM me or post a detailed recipe? I always fail miserably trying to cook ribs in a crock pot. I can see one mistake already I've been making....broiling the meat before it goes into the slow cooker rather than after...

Horrific lifting session last today. Blacked out at 10pm last night (fuck you rugby drinking games), I have ab and upper back doms from pull ups. Don't understand the ab doms, never get them from pull ups. Just felt shit in the gym and I couldn't keep my upper back or abs tight.

Just bought a box of cookies, will probably finish them before the work day is over. I also have half a chicken and a huge thing of vegtables / sweet potatoes, so w/e

From this book (highly recommended) http://www.amazon.com/Slow-Cooker-Revolution-Kitchen-ebook/dp/B004W3VLPY

3 tbsp sweet paprika
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepepr
salt and peper
6 lbs pork ribs
3 cups bbq sauce.

Mix spices, rub on meat, put in slow cooker meaty-side down. Put in bbq sauce

slow Cook for 6-7 hrs on low

Transfer to foil lined baking sheet that's been sprayed with pam

Strain fat from braising liquid, Pour braising liquid into a pot, boil it until it's thick (15-20 min). salt and pepper to taste.

brush both sides of ribs with bbq sauce, tent with foil and broil for 2-4 minutes meaty side up

turn ribs over, broil for another 9-12 minutes, brushing with more sauce every few minutes.

It doesn't stay together that well, as you can see, but it's absoloutely fantastically delicious.

Was thinking about covering the jacket in blood and carrying around a hammer, but I'm probably gonna sell the jacket and didn't wanna mess it up.

That's awesome. I wanted to do something like that. How did you make the jacket? I also have the same Steve Mcqeen boots he wears in the movie, maybe next year, although that is sorta late to the party.
