OK style forum. Whale girl from last week has found me on fb (no mutual friends, different city, didn't tell her what my name on fb was) and has messaged me. How to troll for the lolz or should I just bang because her wrist tattoo is telling me?

Okay brahs...could use some advice.

I can bench 225 x 10 now....but anytime I put more than 275 on the bar I feel like I'm going to get crushed. What are some good ways to raise my high end strength? Anytime I try switching to a 5-5-5, 3-3-3, or 5-3-1 I end up not going very heavy because I can't handle the weight and leave feeling like I didn't get a good workout in. The most I've been able to handle is 285 for a single, and would like to get that up to 315.

Spotters, boards, figuring out where your weak point is and having your form checked are all options.

Bench in a rack, arch so that the bar will touch your chest or the pins if you relax

I actually have a question as well. I had done bodybuilding and powerlifting for the past five years and have recently been trying to slim down a lot. I am effectively trying to atrophy and my body wont let me. I am 5'7 190 pounds, eating at a deficit, avoiding weight training and doing 4-5 hours of steady state cardio. If i weight train at all i just bulk right back up, for example my arm is measuring at 16 1/4 right now cold, down almost 2 inches but if i choose to start working my arms out they blow up immediately. Same with chest and back, and even worse my legs. Also, my muscles are atrophying at different speeds so this is creating back pain. Has anybody here had experience trying to atrophy?

Do this.

245, 2 x 5..

then add 5 pounds a week..

when that stalls out (for two weeks straight)..

switch to 2 x 3..

same thing and when that stalls..

3 x 2..

then when that stalls, reset to 265, 2 x 5.

It's pretty simple and might help you.
