on the topic of food, my blender is proving to be the best purchase ive made in a long time. i have two shakes usually comprising of a total of 4oz spinach, half a head of broccoli, 4 celery stalks, 4 carrots and a random fruit daily. i have noticed a big difference in terms of energy, quality of digestion, stomach health, skin quality (srsly), general well-being and gainzzz. this is probably because i was veggie-deficient beforehand, but its made a huge difference. this is probably no bigger than a big-ass salad, but combining that with daily salad/broccoli/cauliflower at work and it feelsgoodman.
i love eating veggies, but it is so damned time-consuming and irritating to prepare a good variety of them on a daily basis. this takes 5 minutes every morning to grind all that into a paste and slug it back, and this way i know i will be getting a good amount consistenly. i want to try making some sort of meat-paste like a chicken quesadilla mix that i can pan-fry and be good to go with. im thinking of doing chicken in the oven, then blending it down with onions, tomatoes, peppers etc.
so yeah, go drop $300 bux on a blender bros and join the limp-wristed green smoothie brigade
