I'd do a gym meetup but a) I'm still injured so form checks are useless b) my gym's guest fees are retartedly high.

Well I'll say this much. It's pretty far away (it gives you time to schedule) but I'll be squatting at Steel Gym on Friday, October 5th.

If anyone wants to come lift for fun or if you want some technique help, I'll be happy to assist.

First Olympic Lifting Competition completed. Did well enough to get second in my weight class, but didn't meet my goals ... was so anxious the entire day (I didn't lift until almost 7pm) and a little off from being sick during the week. Two days later I'm still upset about missing but first place in my class was ridiculously good, so even if I had not missed I would be second place anyway. Also, I looked DYEL amongst most of the other lifters. My GF says to me "You look so skinny compared to the other guys in your session." confused.gif If any of my friends got decent video, I'll try to post up some footage.

Girlfriends make the biggest trolls. My girlfriend told me the other day that she doesn't mind that I'm bulking but that she wishes my cheeks weren't so full now.

Regardless, congrats on your comp, dude. Even stepping on stage is more than most people will accomplish in their lifetime.

it's still awesome even though you said you're disappointed. at least you totaled and got 2nd, I can tell you that bombing out is the real disappointment bomb haha.
