Whey is cheap as hell. Certainly cheaper than cottage cheese.

I guess satiety is a decent answer. I love shakes for that exact reason though. FAR too hard to get in 5k cals with whole foods.

How is bulking on IF?

I have a love-hate relationship with it.

I love the results I've seen. I've never had a bulk where I've gained so much LBM and so little fat(relatively speaking). I love training fasted because I feel more energetic. Eating 5 meals a day doesn't work for my schedule, so IF makes thing more convenient.

I sometimes HATE having to cram in 5k cals in my feeding window. Sometimes my window is shortened to as little as 4 hours due to work constraints...those days suck. Most days it's fine, but maybe once a week I really struggle to get the cals in.

I'm considering recomping once I finish this cut using IF. I woudn't be at 5k cals though, -probably more around 3k on workout days and 2k on non-workout days. Gotta see how much LBM i lose first.

1 week down though and doing fine.

The folks over on bb.com LOVE doing the IF recomp via leangains protocol. I haven't personally tried it, but some of the before-after pics are pretty impressive.

I'd much prefer just to do a big bulk, get fat as hell over winter, and then do a 3 month cut in the spring...but that's just me. smile.gif

My wrists are smaller than that and my shoulders are the same width....at 6'2. But its good to know you arent a huge mesomorph like most guys who seem to be succesful at this.

Bench is improving. Pausing is feeling easier. What do you do with your head when you bench? I kind of bend my neck forward and look at my chest, but most people just look up.

Accidentaly a whole 2 scoops of purple wraath. Tingly all over.

Reminds me of another "supplement"

Disregard head, tense traps.

Who here can do a scapular wall slide? Butt, lower back touching or BARELY off, upper back touching.

Here's a good example, but try to keep forearms as close to the wall as possible.

Apparently, if you can't do this, you are at a risk of hurting yourself when going overhead.
