Finished my Garage gym finally.
Just in time to see the lightweights throw some weight over their heads in London.

makes me wonder also if some of these last minute injuries are just cover for failing to come off cycle, but maybe that's just me being extremely cynical.

Yeah, I got a little sadface about Hysen, but figures. Bad rap for the Eleiko Gym though they deny everything as they should.

Edit: What gym do you go to, Knucks? Powerhouse, one of the 'RBs on campus?

Sooooo

what to do during 5 day vacation in August? I just came back from a quick 3 day holiday and every lift feels worse now.

Should bring gym shoes and do bw workout in hotel room? Sounds extreme though.

edit: pretty sure my hotel has no gym.

Also switched my bench form to more arch in back, keeping traps and shoulders tight, keeping elbows tucked in etc.

Uncomfortable as hell, but whole body, not just pecs, tingles after workout and can bench more compared to my regular bodybuilding form where I'm just forming a "T" with my arms and just pushing upwards.

jelly of all your space. looks excellent icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

coincidentally, i was out in town today and thought "hey i should check the secondhand sports place, i havent been there in awhile." there was a decent adjustable bench for $50 bux waiting for me - unintentional brand synergy with my rack, too. not as wide as i'd like, but it inclines and the padding is firm to the point of being hard with lots of knobby grippy shit on it. its very stable, no wobbling whatsoever though i am probably going to weld a length of steel perpendicular to the front leg to make it sturdier. probably going to turn my wooden bench into a decline ab bench or something. i also took a can of matte black tremclad to my rusty plates, shit looks dope. for real, it sounds lame and you wouldn't think spraypainting plates would make a big difference but my old shitty 45's look way better now. gonna buy another can tomorrow and do the rest of my plates.

Theres now a creepy as fuck doll lying on the floor.
The sign language children were pretty lolzy. One of them did a troll face when the camera went over him.
Was that the black guy on Radio 1? He contributed nothing other than to repeatedly say how good it was he was there and how everybody else should be jealous. Huw Edwards and the porridge gobbler were OK though.

Not really convinced by the fact that there were black people in top hats in the industrial revolution though nor the fact that we should be celebrating the NHS while hospitals are being closed all over the place.

Oh yeah reason I opened this thread was to say I'm getting back in the gym today, couldn't really lift while pushing a heavy trolley 25 miles around a warehouse every day but since I got promoted I'll be back.

Pulaku tested positive for something. What a bummer.
Hopefully second test proves otherwise.
If he was doping, I hope it was something serious and not one of those diuretics that are banned. That'd be a shame.
If its diuretics chances are its to cover up something more sinister. Most athletes are at it whatever sport they do, one of many reasons the Olympics are a joke.
