seriously, iirc ferriss advocates a keto diet which is nothing out of the ordinary for someone who's done some reading on lifting but since its in the FOUR HOUR BODY all of a sudden its some magical diet that makes women magnetically attracted to your balls.

I'm guessing this is a very dumb question, but is it possible to loose fat eating at around maintenance because even though all I've eaten today was plain beef, pork, salmon, eggs, yoghurt and berries I've still managed to total at just under 3000 calories at 300g of protein and even though I've lost all my water weight and I don't look as bloated I don't know if I can actually loose fat like this.

Fuji, do something like intermittent fasting or Leangains if you want to cut. Honestly dude its fall heading toward winter, and imo I think you should just wait until February to start your cut. Embrace the chunk a little and get stronger while you've got it.

Eating at maintenance, losing fat and gaining muscle is called recomping. So yes you can but if your primary goal is to lose fat then you would need to eat at a deficit.

How is hitting 2500 kCals tough? I eat 2000...

Im not doing a proper cut, 3000 calories isn't exactly a cut. I can still get stronger on that I think. The way im eating now, ill be like 210lb by february and with not that much muscle. Would rather Just clean out the diet now so im not as fat come februaryish when I can start a proper cut.

Is there any physiological drawback to stalling/resetting?

I know that people always talk about it in a negative way, but there any real drawback or is it like going up a sand dune on a dirtbike; takes a few tries before you get to the top?

should be mandatory reading at every commercial gym

Jarude endorses... must read...

On a side note, had a great experience at the gym yesterday. I was finally able to use the stare-down on a bunch of bros occupying a bench press while using dumbbells. Felt real proud of myself.

The bros have fucked off out the gym, hopefully for good. Now all that's left is the scummer trainer and the two scouser students who take half the dumbbells and grunt on every single rep to go.
