Exciting times at the gym. There is this guy whose kind of famous around Cambridge. He's a black albino who raps to himself really loudly pretty much all the time and whenever he flags a bus he gets in the middle of the road and starts break dancing. I always assumed he was my age, but he's like 32 and has a kid. He's also banned from every drinking establishment around Cambridge because he's a drug dealer........AND TODAY HE JOINED MY GYM. I am so excited to see what lolz he can bring.
Paused box squats with 160kg for 4x2 then a single. Is a PR, but I wanted 5x2 so still feels bad man and it means I can't progress to 162.5kg on Friday. Didn't do pull ups, felt really tired even body weight ones felt a bit hard, may need to cut down on the volume.
Also deadlifted for the first time in ages like january probably, someone left 140kg on a bar so I did a few reps with it. Felt so good, may need to add them back into my workout just for dat feel.
