fuck keto! (i'm just mad because i can never last more than a couple weeks) timed carb diets are a great alternative to keto and you can eat somewhat normal...

Thanks guys. All good stuff. I'm going to research it further...

I didn't start frequenting Iron Addicts until a few weeks ago, so I only now realized Wesley was the guy some people mentioned here in September after he died. Was it ever revealed what the cause of death was?

Yes. Broscience. It's bullshit.

But yea, take a pack once in a while, it's just 200-300 calories ffs. It won't change anything if you take some gummies once per week.

Got my attention on this one. I'm very much out of the loop, but this guy touched a lot of people's lives apparently. Pretty incredible.

His cause of death seems to be almost a taboo subject, for whatever reason. Only small hints like..

It is now of how someone died, but the way they lived their lives. That speaks to Wes, who has contributed more than anyone knows, who will miss the fact that I was not close to him and the impact it had on me to come in person to see how a person he was.

I am certainly curious though.

It was mentioned on some board that he expired in a car accident (bb.com, not the best of sources). Guess I should start frequenting iron addicts, what with all the praise its getting here. Seems like a decent forum.

It sucks for me because it is just regular old candy like starburst, skittles, jelly beans, etc (fruit flavored candy primarily). Once I have just one or two I can't stop. So I just can't have any. All of this leftover halloween candy in the office...
I eat what I want, and just do more cardio. Haven't seen any hard evidence to suggest an occasional candy bar will turn me into a fat ass or hamper my lifts. I lol @ people who subsist on chicken breasts, brown rice and celery for 6 meals a day and are in no better shape than I am. As long as you are keeping sight of the big picture, some indulgences are OK.

well that depends what your big picture is.

starting next week i intend to drop down below 150lbs. That's gonna be about 6 weeks of strict diet.

i'd actually rather eat chicken breast and brown rice over a candy bar. It's just the convenience which causes lapses.

I love cheat days, but feel awful (physically) if I don't get to eat mostly clean for even a few days. So while I enjoy a candy bar, I wouldn't want to eat one every day.

Lots of young fellows doing squats with proper form at the gym today. Was quite a beautiful sight to see all the power racks taken by squatting bro's

+1. With the right seasoning that sounds like a delicious diet.

So close to 5x10 chinups. 2 reps away from 4th set and 4 reps away from 5th set.

I actually just signed up for an account last night, after hearing some praise here from a couple of du's. There's definitely a shit ton of good stuff there, especially in the nutrition sections.
