If you're doing SS maplefuturist, you should be definitely be eating more than 2600 calories. That's really nothing. Just browse the SS articles for 10 minutes and you'll see Rip berate people for eating that few calories. I've done it since late April and I went from ~180 to 210. Yeah, 2 months with a stall is really damn quick. As long as you started light enough and loaded at a reasonable pace, you should keep going for a while.

Told him I did it before and i'm not plateauing. He then told me to increase my intensity by doing drop sets, super sets and short breaks because apparently thats really good for strength. Told him squatting 95% of my max for doubles is better. Asked me what my max was, told him 170kgx3 and he fucked off. wtf is with SStards licking mark ripptoes ass. It's not a magic program, it's not gonna work for me when I'm squatting reasonably high weight, I'm not gonna put 7.5kg on my squat every week.

Not sure how any of that has to do with SS since drop sets, super sets, and short breaks aren't part of it. Sadly, to most people it is a magic program because they've been doing useless shit for years. I'd rather have an overzealous SSer critique my SS form than a x-fitter try to preach to me about his program.

How'd you fuck it up? Do you get any pain going side to side or only up and down? How about in the upper should/trap area?

Can't fight nature Chuck. You may just be destined to compete in the <200 weight class.

That's the thing. I want to stay competing in the 198's. But I should be walking around at at least 205 and cut water for weigh-ins.

At my current weight, I could make weight for the 181's if I wanted but I don't want to compete that low.

That is part of the frustration, I have no idea how it happened. Yes, I have shoulder issues as well and have been working on trying to strengthen my traps and increase shoulder mobility. It is probably related but the shoulder issues really seem to be brought on when I do upper body work. The neck pain is ever present. I keep wanting to roll my neck around while looking at the ceiling to fight the downward pressure but that doesnt seem to alleviate the tension/pain.

Chariy are you still doing your massive cheat days?

Guy recommended SS then afterwards he recommended drop sets and shit.

Gfs friend works at a supplement testing company. She gonna get me that free casein and whey. Said she was testing some whey today and it had winstrol in it. When will it be my turn for whey protein with winny in it?

2600 sounds low but I started at 56.2 kg. In the book he recommends 3500-6000 calories, but that was for a bodyweight significantly higher than me. I'm up at 3000 now anyway so I'll see how that goes this week.

At that bodyweight its not that low. How tall are you? I think if you are very underweight to start with, you can gain much faster as your body is kind of malnourished and will use up all the nutrients you throw at it to build lacking bone density, ligament strength etc as well as muscle. I'd say 20lb weight gain in 2 months of SS is not unreasonable. For slow bulking i find bodyweight in pounds x 20 = calories required. For SS i would add a good 4-500 onto that for recovery. I hope you are planning before and after pics:slayer:

About 180cm. I haven't weighed myself this week yet (tomorrow), but I've done 10lbs in just over a month. Took picture before I started, but deleted it off my HDD. I posted it in this thread but it was so long ago I can't find it. I have a picture from week 3 though.

I'm not sure how long I'm going to do SS for. I think eventually I want to try oly lifting.

10lbs in a month starting at a BW of 56kg isn't very much. Assuming your not missing workouts, working your ass off, and begin eating more, you should be packing on weight pretty quickly.

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother with Oly lifts yet. You might as well take advantage of the huge gains you can make in the next 6 months, then if you begin to plateau, you can do whatever the hell you want. I'd say just get your big lifts up to a reasonable level. But, it's obviously up to you and the pull of Oly lifts may be too strong.

Something about this reads of fantasy and imminent regret.

Yep, but thankfully I can enjoying myself now and not cram in as much as before since my metabolism is jacked up.

Weekends eat whatever I want as long as I total over 13,000 calories.

Can you explain?

If you eat a certain way over time, your metabolism is going to respond to it.

Much like eating at a deficit for "x" amt of time will cause your metabolism will drop, eating at the way I do made my metabolism increase.

I did about 15,000 calories every Saturday that caused me to put on MAYBE a pound or two of fat in the beginning. But every Saturday, it spiked up my metabolism and that echoed well into the week. Kind of like the same concept as a "carb day" for dieters but more extreme. Now I'm leaner than before, stronger, bigger, and my metabolism is so jacked up it's hard to gain any weight.

Now that my body has gotten used to it (takes a while for something this extreme), I'm leaner than before, stronger, bigger, and my metabolism is so jacked up it's hard to gain any weight. Also, since I adapted, I don't have to go as extreme for my cheat day (which is very uncomfortable). Now I just eat 12,500-15,000 calories from Saturday to Sunday over about 48 hours to maintain this metabolism and because I like eating.
