All the things you think about when it comes to health, diet, and exercise.

I have lost all perspective on whether I'm too fat, too skinny, look good, etc. I literally change my mind every other day. Yesterday I was too skinny until I tried to put on a MTM shirt and my arms didn't fit in the sleeves, what the ****.

Also, should I work hard at the gym today or just half-ass it?

No matter how good of shape you think you are in, Go run sprints for 30 minutes and you will think otherwise.

Everybody in my life tells me I am too skinny. Except the WAYWT thread, they tell me I'm fat. I just ignore everyone else's opinion.

If you are not going to work hard at the gym, why bother going?

working a bit is better than not working at all

personal trainer at the gym talked to me for my whole workout because his client didn't show, distracted me and ended up taking like 4-5 minutes break in between sets of squats.

****, that wasn't in limerick form...

There was a man with much extra weight
Without working hard he wanted to look great,
With twenty minutes at the gym
He thought he could be trim
But by then it was already too late.

I can think of a dozen different things I'd rather do than go to the gym, but I do go every day, block out everything around me, get my workout done and get the hell out of there asap. I use a wristwatch to time myself between sets. I don't see the point of dawdling in the gym - seems like a total waste of time to me. There are much more fun ways to waste time... lol....

Eating clean sucks. It sucks. Especially when I am put into so many situations where I have to eat food that other people have prepared, laden with sodium, sugar, and other yucky things. Then anytime I decline or eat a smaller portion they are like "WTF why are you not eating?? Just once won't hurt".

No one thinks to harass a ***** with their fattiness, but skinny people catch all the **** (as adults).

I was at the gym yesterday and a very obese 8-10 yr old was getting a fitness assessment with his dad and a trainer. I had this really elaborate daydream about the different emotions the three might be experiencing between deadlifts.

I think if I eat a couple very low carb meals in a row, my body temperature rises...

I definitely feel a whole lot better after I finish 30 minutes of cardio, without fail.

Most people i know think lifting weights is like a chore, I really enjoy it for some reason. Same with eating protein shakes etc., they think it tastes bad but i think it's delicious. Too bad it's pretty expensive and kind of a waste of money IMO.

The whey protein I buy is cheaper per gram of protein than most meat. Tastes better too. Eggs are my protein staple though, as I'm not a huge meat guy.

Since the 70's I've been an active member of gyms, playing racket ball, stairmaster, weights, and in the last few years using cute trainers. Aside from the gym I hike in the hills and ride a Mt bike but lately, lets say the last 3 months, I just don't want to exercise. I just want to sit on ******. I need motivation. My pants are getting snug.

when I started lifting I thought I knew what a 'good" program was and that I trained better then everybody else. It only took a year and a half under the bar to realise I don't.
