why slim fit? it looks fine, but it also looks like it will pinch your biceps.

My bench grip is is actually about 1.5-2" narrower on each side of the maximum width you're allowed to have on competition bench presses.
All camera angles for squats suck (unless it's dead on to the side at hip level). I sunk all my squats. And according to everyone I asked, my third attempt was actually the deepest of all of them.
Yeah, I love the higher hip starting position. I wish I had longer arms but my arms are pretty average - if anything a 0.5" shorter than avg. But I can start so high by curving my back a lot. Learned that trick from watching Tom Martin and KK videos as well as instructions from my coach.

is there a benefit to starting high?

do any of you have TOJ jackets? if so which ones and does it work with your body type?

fuuuu. i want them all

My high starting position is just optimal for my body and pulling style. Doesn't mean it's the best - just best for me.

Yeah, I have an MDR right now and used to have the 2010 dr. Works fine as long as you size it right.

Oh, also have the TOJ1.

also knucks, I just read through the "there's no system" article series, and it was great. So if you run into Charniga you can tell him that at least one novice weightlifter overseas appreciates his work.
